Audience: tournament directors and authorized event staff.
Type: practical checklist and optional AI prompt, not an automated integration.

## Row review

Source reference and check date:
Seeding evidence (kept separate from division):
Issue category: missing / stale / conflicting / possible duplicate / none

## Process
1. Preserve the export and work on a dated copy. Do not change registrations.
2. Verify current event identifiers and season. Never assume last season's lookup is current.
3. Match stable identifiers; retain similar-name teams separately unless confirmed.
4. Separate requested placement, current league division and seeding evidence.
5. Hold unsupported/conflicting records. Do not infer a division from a name.
6. Give every source row one review outcome. Reconcile rows and count unique teams separately.
7. Obtain authorized director approval before bracket generation and publication.
8. Check the resulting draft for omitted teams, duplicates and agreed event constraints.

## Optional AI prompt
Review this sanitized worksheet against the supplied current-season source summaries.
Return an exception table with row reference, issue category, supplied evidence reference,
missing information and the question an authorized director must resolve.
Do not browse for or invent a division, merge teams, determine eligibility, change a registration,
generate a supposedly final seed order or claim the mapping is approved.
A requested division is not proof of current league placement.
Mark unsupported facts unknown. Distinguish current sources from stale ones.

## Synthetic example
DEMO-101 / North Example FC / Division A / current source supports A / ready for director review
DEMO-102 / Valley Example SC / Division B / only prior-season source / hold: stale source
DEMO-103 / East Example United / Division A / conflicting current labels / hold: director review
